Associate Planning Coordinator Job Description The Temporary Associate Planning Coordinator supports the planning and coordination of operational activities across departments to ensure project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables are met effectively. This role assists in gathering and analyzing data, preparing schedules, maintaining documentation, and coordinating communication among internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level to early-career role designed to provide exposure to planning processes, cross-functional collaboration, and business operations. This is a 3-month temporary assignment with the possibility to extend to the end of the year. Responsibilities Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to assist in planning and replenishment strategies. Generate and maintain planning reports, schedules, and documentation to support decision-making and performance tracking. Utilize MRP/ERP systems to enter, track, and update planning data accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of plans. Assist in preparing metrics and KPIs to track planning performance and support reporting requirements. Create appropriate documentation to plan material deliveries and monitor the supply chain. Create purchase requisitions based on the Master Production Schedule. Create reports for distribution to program office, customer visits, and management. Highlight critical parts and any issues that may keep operations from meeting the Master Production Schedule. Essential Skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. Experience with ERP systems. Experience in logistics, planning, and materials management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum of two years of experience in planning or a related field. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Interest in data analytics. Manufacturing background .
