Job Description
Production Control Planner Key Role:
Schedule and monitor production from receipt of order to shipment of goods. Review and maintain production schedules to meet on-time delivery and efficiency goals. Control the flow of technical data through the issuing of work tickets and routers to the production floor. Provide oversight for inventory control functions, including receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory and cycle counting program. Track and obtain the status of parts in the production system. Resolve any scheduling conflicts or shortages. Analyze multi-level bills of material and methods to ensure that all parts are completed per the master production schedule. Create detailed files and records on all projects from bid to completion of the project.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in a production control role in a manufacturing plant Experience with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) software Experience with warehousing or inventory control Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to obtain a Secret clearance HS diploma or
GED Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work well with little or no supervision Possession of excellent customer service skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
