Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provides production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work In Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule
  • Maintains integrity of the shop floor, MRP
  • Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal resources,
  • Redirect and / or re-establish priorities, as required, in support of the Master Schedule
  • Facilitate expedited material of critical part shortages to released work orders The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:
  • BS Degree and 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, and/or project management or Associates degree with 4 years experience or equivalent experience
  • MRP Knowledge
  • Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with ERP Systems (preferably SAP) Due to the nature of this role, proof of US Citizenship is required upon hire.
