Your passion:

You must have a passion to change the world for Jesus through relevant and inspiring events in and with our Church. You’ll do this by gathering and organizing all information needed for daily events, helping to coordinate updates for all ministries, and assist with organizing and providing information to all servicing departments. As the event logistic coordinator, you must have proven organizational and strategic skills and will be responsible for defining and implementing measurement strategies to support Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale’s image and brand. This position will create, coordinate, and maintain all events information.

Able to deal diplomatically with a wide range of personalities Organized in nature: Honor deadlines, prioritize tasks, pay high attention to details and maintain standards Competent in event planning and travel coordination You will: Participate in the strategic planning process for meetings and events, including identifying event objectives and constructing initial budgets Work with leadership and ministries to align event requests with church vision and initiatives Input event related data and oversee data entry using event management system Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of events, rooms and spaces needed; resolve scheduling and resource reservation conflicts Help coordinate event scheduling and approval processes and procedures Assist and collaborate in partnership with Facilities, Catering, Security and all other ministry teams providing the necessary information for a successful event Maintain and communicate Church master calendar Assist on preparation of training materials Assist with planning, directing and coordinating purchasing, distribution, forecasting, customer service or planning services Participate and organize events for multiple campuses May be required to make emergency store visits and purchases for event needs Responsible to maintain reports, process documentation, process payments to suppliers, keep logs of events including files with pictures and SWOT reports Partake in the event set-up and breakdown of process of events Assist in classroom and department-specific training You have: A flexible schedule Experience working with a team as well as being a self-starter A natural disposition to be proactive, foresee and prevent possible scenarios before they happen Understanding of how to execute an event seamlessly The ability to project manage, organize, prioritize, and multi-task People skills What you are required to know: We are an EEO employer. You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 35 lbs. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position. You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.
