Clarity Lab Solutions is a growing clinical laboratory based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, dedicated to high-quality diagnostic testing with fast turnaround times. As we expand, we are looking for a highly organized and experienced Logistics Coordinator to help streamline and manage our lab operations.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Laboratory Logistics Coordinator with at least one year of prior laboratory experience to manage the daily logistics of specimen collection and transport. This role includes coordinating with local drivers, national shipping providers (UPS, FedEx, etc.), and out-of-state phlebotomists to ensure timely and secure delivery of specimens to our lab. The candidate must also be familiar with the accessioning process, ensuring that incoming samples are correctly labeled, logged, and routed upon arrival.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all specimen pickups and deliveries using local couriers, national carriers, and internal systems Schedule and communicate with out-of-state phlebotomists for proper specimen collection and shipping Track and verify the status of all in-transit samples and proactively address any issues or delays Maintain compliance with shipping and handling regulations for clinical specimens Lead the onboarding process for new client facilities — clearly explaining our services, setting expectations, building client confidence, and ensuring all necessary paperwork, agreements, and logistics are completed smoothly and professionally Ensure smooth handoff of samples from logistics to accessioning and testing teams Support and improve logistics workflows and vendor performance over time

Qualifications:

1+ years experience in a laboratory setting, ideally with exposure to specimen logistics Working knowledge of the accessioning process and sample intake procedures Familiarity with courier coordination, UPS/FedEx systems, and temperature-sensitive shipping Excellent organizational and communication skills Confident, professional, and capable of representing the lab in front of new clients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment Comfortable using basic software tools (Excel, shipping portals, tracking systems)
