We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Materials Planner. This position reports to the Materials Manager and will work in the Pompano Beach, FL facility. As a Materials Planner of the Pompano Beach team, you will be responsible for the purchase of direct and indirect materials in a timely and economic fashion. General Responsibilities Review MRP messages daily and place or reschedule vendor orders as required in order to meet production schedule dates Ensure all teams have materials on hand required to meet customer demands in a profitable manner Maintain inventory levels according to our business plan Ensure the quality of purchased materials meets Engineering specifications Maintain a professional day-to-day business relationship with suppliers Adhere to all ISO Procedures and Work Instructions Follows up on information received from sales, engineering, marketing, and operations to support product transition/addition Assist manufacturing in executing the physical inventory process Interact with Engineering, Operations, Scheduling, Quality, and other departments that require material coordination Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities to disposition non-conforming components Participate, as needed, in program review and new product introduction meetings Provide timely input to management regarding problems such as shortages and design changes Suggests, investigates and supports the implementation of cost savings initiatives Works to resolve issues impacting timely payments to suppliers Using available tools, monitor supplier performance and request corrective actions when required Performs other related duties as required What do we offer? SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment. Additionally, they will have acquired the following qualifications and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; APICS Certification is beneficial Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Strong sense of urgency Good verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of MRP; AS400 experience is preferred Product knowledge and HVAC experience a plus Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics: Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
