The role ATP is seeking a detail-oriented Fuel Purchase Coordinator to join our team . In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our Operations and Facilities Planning & Development teams by overseeing vendor partnerships, reviewing and validating fuel charges, monitoring pricing trends, and helping to ensure that our fleet’s fuel purchasing remains accurate, cost-effective, and efficient. We’re looking for candidates with a background in Transportation Logistics, Accounting, Business, or related experience — particularly those with prior involvement in fuel procurement or fleet operations in sectors like aviation, trucking, rail, or maritime. Responsibilities Update and maintain monthly fuel reporting for 80+ locations, tracking: Retail posted pricing, Monthly fuel consumption, Contract pricing and discount validations Identify discrepancies in discount agreements and significant month-to-month pricing changes. Review and validate weekly retail fuel charges for key Analyze high-use transient fuel locations for cost-saving opportunities. Validate wholesale bulk purchase invoices against contract rates and bill of ladings. Manage and track fuel card inventory across vendors, ensuring accountability and smooth operations. Complete fuel flowage reports and support annual audit requirements for regulatory entities. Maintain vendor contact information and payment account records. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Logistics, Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred (aviation, trucking, railroad, shipping, or fleet support industries). Strong attention to detail, especially in reviewing invoices and agreements. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, data validation). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, structured, and mission-driven work environment.
