Logistic Coordinator in Audio and Visual PRI Productions 1819 Kings Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207 ANNOUNCEMENT PRI Productions is seeking an extremely detailed, professional, process-oriented, and highly organized Logistics Manager to join our team. Qualified candidates must possess and demonstrate the skills and maturity to be successful in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment; and must have a love for the dynamics, tempo and energy of the special event business as well as a strong ability to navigate the complexities of scheduling and managing a labor force to accomplish all asset movement tasks between multiple job sites daily within one managed fleet of delivery vehicles.

SUMMARY A PRI

Logistics Coordinator in A/V is responsible for creating, managing, and organizing the schedule for the Special Events and A/V Department. He or she will lead a team of A/V personnel with an ability to anticipate needs, discern priorities, meet deadlines with little supervision and be willing to work evenings and weekends. The success of an individual in this position requires a high level of organization and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to reconstruct a schedule and new leads and changes develop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES A/V CREW SCHEDULING

Assists Event Producers/Planners with logistical needs and concerns regarding venues, equipment needs, and deadlines. Engages in communication with Event Producer/s and A/V Lead/s to ensure that all job details necessary for a successful load in and event are reviewed and understood. Coordinates with Event Producers to make sure all event dates, times, venue notes, and needs are accurately captured in their work orders. Determines staffing levels needed for events are compatible with the Event Producer’s expectations. Develops freight and transportation (routing) plans for all event setups for the department. Coordinates fleet maintenance on repairs on all department vehicles. Handles time management for A/V and responsible for verification of time worked for payroll purposes. Communicates weekly scheduling and concerns with A/V Crew to ensure awareness of upcoming duties. Ensures that everything promised to the client is delivered in a timely and professional manner. A/V Develops equipment plans with A/V staff to ensure equipment transfer is accurately coordinated. Discusses equipment concerns in regards to transportation and set up.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business/event management or a related field from four-year college or university OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related industry.

Computers:

Must possess basic computer skills and be very detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

People:

Due to the highly collaborative nature of this work, strong interpersonal skills are required.

Language:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports, journals, technical procedures, and regulations with an ability to write reports, business correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, clients, customers, and the general public using excellent communication skills.

Reasoning:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Certificates, Licensure and Registrations:

Must have documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States, reliable and insured transportation, as well as a valid driver’s license and driving record with three (3) points or less.
