ELEGRP North America Inc. is a leading innovator in electrical wiring devices and related solutions. This position plays a vital role within the organization and will directly impact the sales team’s operational efficiency. The Logistic Administrator will report to the Sales Director and will primarily focus on all logistics activities, ensuring seamless import/export processes, accurate warehouse operations, and cost-effective transportation solutions. This role requires expertise in customs compliance, inventory control, order fulfillment, and financial oversight of logistics and storage expenses. Import & Customs Clearance Manage import documentation (commercial invoices, bills of lading) and ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations (CBP, FDA, EPA). Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and government agencies to resolve clearance delays. Classify goods (HTS codes) and minimize duties/taxes through trade programs (FTZ, preferential tariffs, etc.). 2. Warehouse & Inventory Management Supervise warehouse receiving; ensuring accurate inbound inspections, labeling, and system updates. Optimize storage layouts and workflows to maximize space and efficiency. Implement cycle counts and audits to maintain >98% inventory accuracy. 3. Order Fulfillment Oversee pick, pack, and ship processes to meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Resolve discrepancies (shortages, damages, etc.) with vendors/carriers. 4. Logistics & Cost Control Select carriers/3PLs for inbound/outbound shipments (LTL, FTL, ocean/air). Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders and warehouse providers. Analyze transportation costs (freight rates, accessories, etc.) and warehouse expenses (labor, storage fees, etc.) to identify savings. 5. Team Leadership Train and supervise warehouse/logistics staff, ensuring safety and productivity. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and finance teams to align logistics with business goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred, or 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics management, with warehouse operations and inventory control expertise. Proficiency in NetSuite WMS/ERP for logistics and inventory management. Strong analytical skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, cost models). Strong knowledge of
INCOTERMS, HTS
classification, and DOT/FMC regulations. Hands-on experience with warehouse layout optimization and labor productivity tracking preferred. Requirements Valid Driver’s License Working on-site in our warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida. Some travel for team meetings, customer consultations and tradeshows. Sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement within logistics processes.
