POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE A
Logistics Coordinator certifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing items .
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Must be able to regularly lift 75 lbs. and move furniture or equipment as core part of daily responsibilities. Check bills of landing for accuracy. Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with the Logistics Manager and Warehouse Coordinator. Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents. Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments. Fold lot stickers as they print for receiving as necessary. Apply lot stickers to both front and back of received pallet as necessary. Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods. Perform other duties and special projects as needed. Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart from the warehouse. Generate all paperwork/information required for customer work orders including responding to and checking status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary, tracking orders and posting inventory records. Communication between customer and warehouse operations concerning the customer’s account/inventory.
