Logistics Specialist Position Available In Hillsborough, Florida

• Adecco is seeking a Logistics Specialist for a long-term temporary assignment with a client in Tampa, FL.

• Compensation:

• $25.50 per hour

• Hours:

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Position Summary:

• The Logistics Specialist will coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support efficient supply chain operations.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Coordinate, schedule, and oversee all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries + Fulfill outbound orders, including picking, packing, and shipping + Arrange pickups and deliveries using various transportation modes (carriers, trucks, trains, planes, ships) as appropriate + Maintain accurate shipping documentation and records + Collaborate with project management to resolve supply chain updates, order discrepancies, and shipping-related issues + Inspect and maintain shipping equipment and materials to ensure operational readiness + Facilitate clear communication with warehouse staff, supply chain managers, transportation providers, and customers + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment + Recommend process improvements related to shipping, transportation, and warehouse operations •

Qualifications:

• + Proven experience in logistics with a demonstrated ability to coordinate shipments efficiently + Familiarity with project logistics, DOT regulations, Incoterms, and international freight operations preferred +
• Valid forklift certification/license required!
• + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel + Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting objects as needed

• Pay Details:

• $25.
