Material Coordinator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL A Material coordinator will manage, control and monitor the purchase procurement of consumable supplies and special purchases necessary for manufacturing and distribution center operations.
Duties:
Oversee fulfillment center consumable supplies for the facility. Manage policies that effectively meet customer demand, and financial commitments to coordinate the scheduling of production and materials. Understand, comply with, and implement the policies of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment and those that apply to the Company. Interface with leadership, finance and supervisors on material status and production planning issues. Manage inventory and develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining established inventory levels to support business objectives. Monitor production capacities and inventory levels daily and communicate throughout the organization as required to ensure sufficient capacities and levels are available to manufacture scheduled product. Monitors the operational processes and procedures of materials. When applicable, generate ideas to increase the productive capacity of the working groups by initiating new ideas, processes & systems. Ensure material receiving systems and processes verify quality and commercial specifications and agreements. Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records. Produce appropriate procurement reports showing inventory levels, shortages and work to continuously improve procurement metrics.
