JOB SUMMARY
Prince Industries, located in Tampa, has an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to work with an industry leader! This position reports to the General Manager. Hours for this role are Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 4:30pm .
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and coordinating production schedules for the entire plant Procuring, receiving, and tracking inventory of raw materials Determining completion dates on incoming orders and providing feedback to Customer Service Expediting jobs while coordinating with Production, Engineering, and Shipping Scheduling, procuring, and coordinating Outside Services Developing weekly production status reports for management
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Epicor experience or other ERP software 2+ years experience working in production scheduling and/or other Supply Chain roles Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel Previous experience working in a high mix manufacturing environment
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proven ability to work well in a team environment and a collaborative persona An analytical mind and is data driven Familiarity with MRP This role requires long periods of sitting, time in front of a computer and on the phone. A small amount of walking and time spent within the plant is required.
