- F 8 am
- 5 pm o Knowledge of Import/Export Freight through shipping Ports o Knowledge of Brokerage operations o Will be reaching out to 3rd party carriers for delivery updates daily.
In the description for logistics, this would be someone who has experience with import / export freight. Someone that has managed intermodal loads. Someone who has dealt with the different major US ports. Someone who has done load brokerage, and 3rd party carrier track and trace. This person would need to be proficient in excel, and knowledgeable of SharePoint.

Daily Tasks:
Tracking drivers to update customer delivery times Sorting paperwork via customer. Entering orders into new TMS system Setting delivery appointments through different customer scheduling portals Processing orders all the way through to billing Managing scheduling and tracking of all 3rd party (non-Del Monte) loads They will not be doing dispatch, they will have minimal contact with the drivers. The regular hours after training is complete is 8-5, training is 9-5. Weekends and late evenings are only needed if we are back logged or we have a major issue at the port.

- We are a relaxed business casual unless we have visitors, which then we dress in business professional. (Visitors are announced at least the day before)
- We allow jeans, but no ripped-up jeans, even if bought that way. No shorts.
- Closed toed/closed back shoes at all times. Heels are ok, but not recommended due to periodically having to go into warehouse. Avoid shoes that do not have traction on bottom.
- No sleeveless tops unless wearing a cover up, such as a sweater, jacket, etc. No mid drift exposure at all for shirts.
- T-Shirts are ok when not having visitors, but must be appropriate, no offensive material, no holes in shirt.
- Don’t mind hair color, but keep it professional.
- Don’t mind tattoos or piercing, but again, professional.
And remember any time you must enter the dock or backs of trailers all jewelry must be completely removed, and when we have visitors from corporate tattoos must be covered, so placement is important. (Company policy states no visible tattoos at all, so this could hinder future employment here) The pay range outlined herein is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
