Full Job Description Company Overview :

Our client focuses on the sourcing and supply of large commercial airframe and engine material and providing whole aircraft end-of-life solutions in support of Airlines, MROs, Leasing Companies and Financial Institutions worldwide.

Job Summary :

The Logistics Administrator assists the Operations Manager through the organization of material pick-up, customs and exporting requirements and the handling of hazardous materials. It requires that one be a self-starter, able to work as part of a team and willing to assist with all day-to-day operations inherent to a rapidly growing organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

• Complete daily shipping airway bills and BOLs
• Process hazardous materials for shipment via Ground (DOT) and Air (AITA)
• Coordinate freight movement with teardown facilities
• Schedule and process engine and engine stand movements
• Negotiate freight cost savings with shipping companies
• Coordinate with Product Line & Repairs teams to furnish customs paperwork and clear Customs related issues
• Maintain high energy, positive attitude and great sense of humor
• Familiar with export-controlled items/materials through Department of Commerce (SNAP-R)
• Other tasks and projects as directed by management

Bonded Warehouses Required Experience :

• At least eight years’ experience in a related field
• Prior aviation industry experience a plus
• Strong communication, consultation, and relationship management skills
• Detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
