Job Description:

Responsible for packing and shipping accessory orders safely and accurately while meeting On Time Delivery goals Shipping Prepare and organize pick tickets. Pack accessories orders. May require the use of saw, nail gun and other tools. Prepare Shipping labels for corresponding orders. Prepare invoice orders. Maintain and organize electronic filling by saving electronic copies of paperwork, pick tickets, packing lists, in the proper location. Maintain material inventory by moving material from receiving area to their designated areas on the receiving/loading dock for pickup before cutoff time. Material Handling Properly store material in designated areas. Keep physical counts of materials up to date. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Notify Accounting and Sales when RMA’s (Return Material Authorization’s) are received. Military and International Order Preparation Utilize VSM (Vendor Shipment Module) System to print labels for military orders. Prepare military orders for shipment using heat treated pallets with proper labeling Schedule pickup of military orders through VSM system. Monitor emails daily and reply in a timely fashion to both freight forwarders and interdepartmental ITW employees. Communicate weights & dimensions for international orders to Sales Manager. Create paperwork needed including but not limited to Commercial Invoice and SLI. Pack all international freight shipments on heat treated pallets Transport finished orders to receiving/loading dock once BOL and labels are received before truck arrives. Notify Receiving Team/dock personnel of incoming trucks to pick up LTL orders Ordering Turn in Kanban cards when reorder points are triggered to keep 80 items in stock. Maintain inventory of Uline orders to keep packing material in stock. Safety Ensure all material is handled properly and with care assuring no damage or safety issues. Comply with all policies and guidelines. Comply with all 6S standards ITW Toolbox Utilization of ITW Toolbox to assure continuous improvement and business objectives are realized.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

Requirements Forklift

• Skilled forklift operator with valid forklift operator’s license preferred. Will train if needed Physical
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently Safety
• Familiar with all safety requirements and proactive to assure all safety precautions are taken
• proactive to work with team to correct any identified safety issues before moving material Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment Team player, willing and proactive attitude to help wherever needed
