Job Description
Description Large Hospitality company is seeing and experienced Demand Planner to join their team ASAP, this role would require the individual to: + Organize, manage and secure the supplies (F& B and Supply) required for the operations of different locations within his/her scope in accordance with standard processes, by : + Developing and maintaining demand forecasts using historical order and consumption data, occupancy rates and feedback from our internal clients. + Verifying and challenging the needs and deadlines expressed by the locations according to product standards by intended use, stock levels and supplier delivery conditions. • Collaborate with the different stakeholders: + Collaborate with internal contacts: warehouse manager, finance manager, F& B manager, Bar Manager, Chef Executive, Housekeeping manager, et), and departments at the office (buyers, logisticians, Operations, Finance, etc) + Collaborate with external contacts (suppliers, carriers, customs, etc) + Set up KPIs, and monitor them on a month-by-month basis, with the support of internal tools for procurement and consumption in order to continuously improve our forecasting, data analysis and cost savings. + Ensure that operating agreements are in place and respected: quality of service from suppliers, logistics schedules, stock levels, safety stocks (minimum/maximum), level of internal services, etc.
MANAGE SUPPLY AND FORECASTING
+ Ensure the day-to-day supply in accordance with: o Product standards defined by the Products & Services Department o Purchasing & Supply Chain procedures o Safety standards, particularly food safety standards o Contractual agreements signed with suppliers. o Challenge the needs expressed by the Service Managers on sensitive or exceptional products according to the occupancy rates, menu plans, allocations and available stocks, etc. o Establish adequate safety stocks (mini-maximum stocks). + Respect the defined reverse schedule + Ensure set-ups for the start of the season + Ensure orders are given related to events or parties. + Contribute to the ordering and monitoring of site flows (construction or renovation) + Communicate key procurement procedures to different teams: + Manage and optimize supplier performance (cost, quality of service, delivery times and conditions) in conjunction with the manager and in cooperation with the buying coordinators: + Organize the reporting of disputes by the VLSs and report personally observed disputes to the supplier incident database + Ensure regular communication with the relevant actors (Supply Chain manager, buyers, internal customers) on supplier monitoring actions. + Monitor supply budgets and assist in the economic management of their activity Please send your resume to: Jacqueline.
Mejia@RobertHalf and call Jacqueline @ 786-698-7072 Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in demand planning, and forecasting, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry. + Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or statistical software like R or Python). + Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. + Fluency in English required; Spanish or French is a plus.
