Providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of customer service. What you’ll be doing: Comply with all safety regulations and adhere to company safety policies and procedures Inventory management: Tracking inventory levels and availability Ensuring orders are fulfilled and that all paperwork and documentation is completed for each shipment Creating delivery schedules, coordinating driver routes, and tracking shipments Customer service: Responding to customer service requests when needed Data entry
Communication:
Interacting with vendors, suppliers, delivery firms, and savage team members Occasionally work inside the warehouse or terminal to scan cargo What you’ll need: Logistics clerk should have strong attention to detail, be computer literate, and have administrative skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. They should be organized, with attention to detail Have a thorough understanding of customer service procedures and principles. Possess knowledge of warehouse operations, scheduling, and time-sensitive processes Strong ability to multitask Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Light work:
Exerting up to 20 lbs.
Prolonged sitting:
Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time Ability to don appropriate PPE (Safety-toed boots, Vest, Hardhat, gloves, Reflective vest) and walk within a warehouse or terminal setting, to work in hot or cold temperatures
