Communication:
Interacting with vendors, suppliers, delivery firms, and other warehouse staff Occasionally work inside the warehouse or terminal to scan cargo Requirements to be successful in this position: A logistics clerk should have a strong attention to detail, be computer literate, and have administrative skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. They should be organized, with attention to detail Have a thorough understanding of customer service procedures and principles. Able to work in stressful conditions and have knowledge of warehouse operations Strong ability to multitask Experience with Microsoft Office tools Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: Light work: Exerting up to 20 lbs.
Prolonged sitting:
Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time Ability to don appropriate PPE (Safety-toed boots, Vest, Hardhat, gloves, Reflective vest) and walk within a warehouse or terminal setting, to work in hot or cold temperatures
