The Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Logistician to provide technical support to our customer, Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS) located in Orlando, Florida.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and address the Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements during system design, acquisition, fielding, sustainment and disposal.
Performing various analysis and drafting acquisition documentation to document findings and recommendations for cycle support of training systems/devices/support infrastructure.
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), fielding and provisioning conferences and other meetings as required as the logistics subject matter expert.
Provide logistics support in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guidebook, SECNAVINST 5000.2E, and

MCO 5311.1D

Total Force Structure Management Process.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

At least a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

At least two to four (2-4) years of experience.
Familiarity of Government Acquisitions.
Experience with Global Combat Support System (GCSS) and/or Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) .
Experience with provisioning, assigning National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and birthing records.
Solid working knowledge of subject matter.
Ability to work under general supervision.
Ability to handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Ability to provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Strong oral and written communication and computer skills.
Ability to organize and deliver logistics deliverables in concise straight forward English.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Mathematical, analytical thinking, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with fielding plans, disposal plans, and Item Unique Identification (IUI) Plans.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE

Must be a US citizen.
Ability to pass a Tier I background investigation.
