PM Pay Rate:
$30.66 per hour, weekly pay on W2 plus Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits
Contract Length:
6 Months (Contract extension or conversion to full-time based on performance) What You’ll Do As a Logistics Compliance Specialist, you will ensure client’ import/export processes comply with U.S. trade regulations. You will work closely with Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and internal teams to monitor trade laws, classify goods, and support customs programs such as Duty Drawback and Temporary Import Bonds. Your Day-to-Day Monitor updates to U.S. Customs Regulations (19 CFR), Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), and other relevant trade laws Assign accurate HTS codes and determine country of origin for imported/exported products Apply U.S. Customs valuation methods and analyze tariff exposure Support compliance with CBP, ITAR, EAR, and other U.S. trade regulations Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders on shipments Assist with ERP integration of trade compliance data (SAP preferred) Support internal audits and maintain trade compliance documentation Provide reporting on trade compliance metrics and recommend process improvements Help develop SOPs and deliver training on import/export procedures What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field, or equivalent education with 5+ years of experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics (required) Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, valuation methods, country of origin determination, and customs programs Familiarity with Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Sanctions Programs Experience using ERP systems such as SAP Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Licensed U.S. Customs Broker (a plus) Experience with duty drawback, Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), or CTPAT Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries Leadership or project management experience #TM1
