Your Role:
Tetra Tech’s Disaster Response Division (TDR) is currently hiring for a Logistics – Procurement Specialist.
Responsibilities include:
Procurement of requested supplies and resources to support field operations, office staff and other TDR departments.
Tracking shipped and purchased goods to destination and reporting of delays. Perform credit card reconciliation and financial tracking and documentation of orders.
Support logistics team members with functions such as travel coordination, warehouse operation, and ground support. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Procurement and purchasing experience. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to work out of Orlando warehouse. Must be able to lift and carry 25-30 lbs. Able to work well with others in a project team environment. Must be able to work long-hours on short notice, including occasional weekends, to support emergency response field operations. Position may require travel, sometimes on short notice, depending on project requirements. It is understood that your employment is to be on an “at will” basis. Neither our stating your salary in annualized terms nor ourments nor representations in any other respects are intended to express or imply that you will be working either for any particular duration or under a contract of employment. This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an “as needed” basis and will end.
