Manufacturing Planner Sr Job Description Join our team as a Manufacturing Planner Sr, responsible for planning and coordinating the production process to ensure efficient and effective production of high-quality products. Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring that production meets customer demands, quality standards, and schedule requirements. This role will assist and travel to specific MFC manufacturing sites for extended periods of time prior & during the 1LMX transition. Individuals in this role will be on the forefront of change, implementing new processes, & driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. What You Will Be Doing As a Senior Manufacturing Planner, your focus will be on driving production excellence, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and quality standards
  • Scheduling and managing the integrity of the manufacturing resource planning (MRP) system for all assigned assemblies
  • Managing the status and reporting of manufacturing builds, including kit issues and fulfillment of hardware needs
  • Implementing and managing engineering and process changes in the factory
  • Prioritizing workflow in partnership with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that production meets schedule requirements and quality standards
  • Analyzing production data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential issues

National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 – $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
