Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will support the daily execution of ASI Aero’s domestic and international logistics operations. This role reports to the Shipping Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating shipments, preparing required documentation, monitoring tracking updates, and ensuring compliance with aviation shipping regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate outgoing and incoming shipments, including high-value engines and parts.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation such as air waybills, commercial invoices, and export declarations.
• Track shipments and provide updates to internal departments and external customers.
• Work with logistics providers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and ensure cost-effective routing.
• Support customs clearance processes and ensure documentation compliance.
• Assist with freight claims and invoice reconciliation.
• Maintain shipment records and file export documentation per company and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate regularly with warehouse, sales, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain coordination.
• Prior experience in aviation or handling high-value assets preferred.
• Understanding of domestic and international shipping processes and basic export compliance.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with shipping software/systems.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
