Transportation Specialist Brighter Days Caring Hands llc 8151 Redfield Drive, Port Richey, FL 34668 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Transportation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient transportation management, and enhancing overall operational effectiveness. This position requires a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization, as well as experience with various supply chain systems. Duties Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Collaborate with supply chain management teams to ensure seamless integration of transportation processes. Manage transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize routing and reduce costs. Work closely with warehouse management systems (WMS) to coordinate inventory movements and logistics. Conduct business analysis to assess the effectiveness of current transportation strategies and propose enhancements. Engage in data mining activities to extract valuable insights from large datasets related to transportation operations. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transportation activities and metrics. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics, with a focus on transportation operations. Familiarity with SAP ERP systems is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively. Experience with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
