Supply Chain/Inventory Specialist 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Clearwater, FL 33762 • Remote We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented part time Supply Chain/Inventory Specialist to join our team on a REMOTE contract basis working an EST schedule for our Florida based client. This role requires expertise in supply chain operations, inventory management, and occasional accounting support to ensure efficient and accurate processes. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining transactional integrity, reconciling inventory, and resolving discrepancies between systems. This is a part time contract based role, working ~20+ hours a week for ~3 months.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and validate transactions between NetSuite and third-party logistics partners to ensure smooth order-to-shipment processes. Investigate and resolve errors such as synchronization issues, fulfillment delays, and inventory mismatches. Perform daily inventory reconciliations, comparing NetSuite data with 3PL warehouse reports to identify discrepancies. Support data analysis using business intelligence tools and ensure timely synchronization of tasks. Document recurring issues, resolutions, and process improvement opportunities to enhance operational accuracy. Prepare and deliver detailed status reports and exception summaries to the Supply Chain Manager on a regular basis. Contribute to ad hoc supply chain projects, audits, and data clean-up initiatives. Provide occasional accounting support, including journal entries and reconciliations as needed. Utilize advanced Excel skills to create pivot tables, validate data, and generate reports. At least 3 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management roles. Proficiency in NetSuite, particularly in order management, fulfillment, and inventory modules. Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with business intelligence tools and data interpretation. Familiarity with third-party logistics operations and inventory reconciliation. Attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently. Basic accounting knowledge, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage tasks and collaborate effectively.
