Full Time General Summary:

Exxact Express is excited to announce an opening for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Logistics, Operations, and Sales departments to support daily activities and ensure smooth workflow across functions. This position offers hands-on involvement in various aspects of our logistics operations, providing a strong foundation for continued growth and success in the supply chain industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicate with contracted carriers and drivers. Tracks Drivers to ensure that they will be on time for pickup and delivery Make check calls on the loads they are working on to ensure they are running on time. Takes action to escalate customer concerns. Communicate with logistics and/or account managers to be proactive with challenges. Follows departmental guidelines for methods of order input and accuracy. Utilizes all necessary internal applications, including, but not limited to: McLeod LME, PC Miler, Internet, e-mail, Word and Excel. Any other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

Required:

High school diploma or G.E.D Prior experience or coursework related to logistics is a plus but not required

Key Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
