As we continue to grow and meet increasing demand, we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team and help keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently.

Production Planner
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Planner will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production floor by planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of work and materials. This person will work closely with the production team, purchasing, sales, and engineering to align manufacturing timelines with company goals and customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for welding, assembly, and finishing operations to ensure timely order fulfillment. Monitor raw material and component inventory levels. Coordinate with purchasing to prevent shortages and overstocking. Generate and distribute work orders and ensure all necessary materials and information are available to production teams. Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and engineering to align production priorities with customer demands and design requirements. Troubleshoot production delays, material shortages, and scheduling conflicts. Implement process improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, material usage, and production throughput, and provide regular updates to management. Participate in lean initiatives and process evaluations to improve overall operational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication skills with both production floor staff and administrative teams Experience with the NetSuite ERP system is a Plus The ability to interpret blueprints and bill of materials (BOM) is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in fabrication or assembly)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires a dynamic presence in both office and production areas. The ideal candidate should be comfortable transitioning between administrative tasks and time spent on the shop floor throughout the day to ensure smooth coordination and workflow.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
