- What You’ll Do
- Primary point of contact for scheduling customer-pickup shipments
- Communicate with transportation, truck staging, customer service and warehouse contacts to facilitate flow of current and accurate information to aid in streamlining supply chain efficiency
- Compile and distribute multiple daily reports
- Directly communicate with transportation service providers
- Schedule inbound deliveries and communicate with docks on securing appointments
- Active participation in the company safety program is required

Data Entry:
- Maintaining accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other relevant information in company databases.

Documentation:
- Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation for shipments, including shipping manifests, invoices, and other required paperwork.

Administrative Support:
- Providing administrative support to other departments as needed, such as answering phones, managing schedules, and handling correspondence.
- What We’re Looking For
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years transportation or relevant experience required
- Experience working with transportation service providers
- Preferred experience in cold-chain, food distribution or food manufacturing industry
- Experience working with a TMS required, OTM preferred
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience required
- Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Due to the significant amount of steps/stairs contained in our production facility, employees must have the ability to navigate steps/stairs in a safe manner

Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, spreadsheets, and email is necessary
- This role often requires a combination of administrative and logistical skills.
- Experience in a related field, such as transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, may be beneficial.
Driver’s license if operating company vehicle
