Share Transportation Payment Coordinator, TransBusDev – Lakeland 33110BR Lakeland, FL Department Distribution Description reviewing and analyzing bills of lading with identified receiving discrepancies (over, short, damage, refusals and/or wrong goods) for claim liability and making sound business decisions to mitigate or prevent loss for reviewing and reconciling transportation exception invoices for invoices not paid through our auto pay system to ensure payment accuracy reviewing and approving less-than-truckload freight invoices effectively working with internal/external customers and suppliers to ensure accurate payment for transportation services and providing appropriate documentation to support financial recovery when appropriate. Required Qualifications have one year experience working in Distribution, Transportation or an analytical field be able to work flexible schedules be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests (before his or her start date in the position) be able to apply general Accounting practices be able to apply learned Transportation guidelines with a high level of accuracy be able to comprehend Publix warehouse Operations and Procurement practices be able to perform varying Transportation functions outside your normal job responsibilities be able to work independently have analytical skills have conflict resolution skills have decision making skills have interpretation skills have investigation skills have negotiation skills have oral and written communication skills have organizational skills have knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications have knowledge of federal regulations, state statutes, common law and/or business policies have knowledge of Publix Transportation Systems (TMS, Publix HOST, Marwood, WS10, and PIMS) Preferred Qualifications current Lakeland Distribution associate have an associate’s degree in Business, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience and have three years’ experience working in Transportation and have Certified Claims Professional Certification (CCPAC) Hours of Work Monday – Friday; occasional weekends Frequency of Pay Weekly Minimum Base Pay 18.00 Maximum Base Pay 24.85 Potential Annual Base Pay 37,440 – 51,688 Year End Bonus To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
