SUMMARY The Supply Chain Specialist supports core supply chain functions by managing systems, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement efforts across the department. This role acts as a key resource for business systems support, supplier engagement, and process documentation within the Supply Chain Operational Excellence team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as administrator and subject matter expert for the supplier portal platform. Manage internal helpdesk tickets related to supply chain systems and provide user support. Coordinate supplier enablement and communication across procurement and accounts payable functions. Conduct economic, business continuity, and sanction screenings for supplier qualification. Monitor system releases and lead related change management, training, and documentation efforts. Support data-driven projects and collaborate on broader operational initiatives. Develop and maintain training materials such as SOPs, work instructions, and quick reference guides. Provide general support to the Operational Excellence team and perform additional duties as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Economics, International Business, or related field.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to write professional reports and training documentation. Basic understanding of financial/accounting concepts related to supply chain operations. Comfortable solving complex problems with limited standardization. Effective communicator and collaborator across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). SAP or ERP system experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly required to stand and walk; occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Moderate to loud noise environments; hearing protection may be required in some areas.
