Hybrid schedule: WFH Mon and Fri, onsite Tue-Thur
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a good understanding of supply chain and have demand planning experience for the wholesale apparel business.

Scope of Work:

The Contractor will function as a Demand Planner within the Wholesale Planning Team. They are expected to provide the same deliverables (listed below) and ad hoc requests as permanent team members. Contractors are required to have former demand/forecast planning experience along with financial acumen to accompany required reporting.
Performance tracking and reporting:
Contractor should be able to track performance across multiple aggregation levels and develop bias and other KPI reporting if necessary. (Bias reporting shows tracks under/over performance. Other KPI reporting is a plus, but not necessary to complete the contracting role.)
Inventory risk reporting based on forecast, warehouse inventory levels, and incoming production.
Month end reconciliation reporting by account. Must be able to communicate with key stakeholders on events that impact forecast performance.

Deliverables:

Develop and maintain forecasts across multiple aggregation levels and time horizons. Levels include category, collection, and style level. Time horizons to include managing in-season and pre-season forecasts, along with maintaining 12-18 months of forecasts. Monthly
Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliation meetings with sales to ensure forecast alignment. A strong understanding of retail forecast vs shipment forecast is necessary. Contractor is expected to communicate their point of view and collaborate with sales partners on forecast. Weekly/Monthly
Analyze current and historical sales trends, KPI’s, and internal/external insights to derive future forecasts. Weekly
Inventory review and management through monitoring warehouse balance and incoming production. Responsible for communicating with production, logistics, and sales teams regarding requests to push/pull inventory. Monthly
Maintenance forecast through Impact Analytics, our primary forecasting tool. Should also have experience forecasting in Excel as well as we are in the process of transition to Impact. Weekly
Ad hoc requests for forecast, inventory review, and various other tasks are required as well.
