We currently are hiring for a Full-Time Logistics Specialist in our Kennesaw, Georgia location. The job description is listed below. _________________________________ Dickerson Transportation Solutions, LLC Logistics Specialist Dickerson Transportation Solutions, LLC, is looking for a highly motivated Logistics Specialist to join our growing team. The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting our customers with their transportation needs by inputting, updating and closing transportation requests. The ideal candidate will have experience with FTL, LTL and/or Final Mile Delivery shipments and be capable of supporting multiple projects with competing priorities. The ability to properly prioritize workflow and thrive in a busy and dynamic work environment is a must. Attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks are a priority.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transportation shipment data entry.
- Problem solving
- Confirming shipments to initiate billing process
- Recognize and escalate any critical issues to management immediately
- Exhibit professionalism and a courteous demeanor at all times
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, some college education will be helpful
- Proficient and accurate keyboarding skills
- Must be resourceful and internet savvy
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects in an efficient and accurate manner
- Excellent verbal and written grammar
- Exceptional phone and email etiquette
Job Type:

$15.00 – $25.00 per hour
