Production Planner Position Available In Douglas, Georgia

Production Planner SupplyOne Douglasville, GA 30134 Plans Production for all orders received from Customer Service. Communicates the Plan with appropriate departments. Ensures all orders are scheduled for manufacturing in a timely manner to ensure requested delivery dates to customers are met. Schedules, orders and recieves corrugated sheets from approved vendors to support machine schedules. Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions) Schedules machines daily to ensure effective production using Amtech software. Orders and schedules the receiving of corrugated sheets to support customer due dates and production schedules Work with other company facilities to redistribute corrugated production as necessary. Produce and distribute schedule daily (electronically) Work with Plant Mgr, Production Mgr, and Customer Service to ensure customer due dates are met Expedites orders as required to meet customer requirements Participate in monthly inventory on as needed basis Make decisions based on normal operating procedures that are well established for the task, however, many procedures are not explicit so the individual must rely on sound judgment to make many decisions. Other duties as assigned by Management.
