What to Expect
The Sr.
Manager, Collections Vendor Operations will oversee outsourced collections vendors to ensure compliance with HCA guidelines. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to enhance operational performance, refining vendor performance dashboards, and addressing quality assurance gaps through targeted training. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, optimizing collections strategies, and presenting analyses to senior management.
What You Will Do
1. Manage 1st party collection agencies and 3rd party post Charge-Off agencies
- Ensure day-to-day operational support is provided to Collection Vendors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Build strong relationships with vendor management teams to foster a positive performance coaching culture and equip teams with appropriate training and development to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Ensure issues between HCA and vendors are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure team resolves escalated issues in a timely manner and acts as the liaison between HCA and vendors.
- Ensure vendors are meeting all the contractual obligations and service-level agreements (SLAs) established in the vendor agreements
- Develop and maintain policy and procedures documentation for Collection Vendors
2. Vendor Performance Oversight - Lead the efforts with collections vendors to monitor key performance indicators and align results to support strategic goals developed by the collections strategy team.
- Develop and monitor performance dashboards to ensure strategic alignment, adnce to HCA policies and procedures and identify gaps in quality, compliance and training.
- Provide remediation process/documentation for QA/Compliance gaps and associated training needed.
- Lead weekly performance/quality review meetings.
- Provide reporting to collections leadership.
3. Support the development and execution of strategies in conjunction with the Collections Planning & Strategy team.
4. Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing direction, performance feedback, and support to ensure effective collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of organizational and personal goals.
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in a captive finance company, preferably in servicing, call center operations or back-office functions
- Experience in offshore vendor management, contracting, service level agreement adnce, and overall global support operations
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent project management skills and demonstrated competency with research, analysis, and project leadership
- Proficient with project management and presentation software including PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Excel, Access, and Word
- Proven ability to implement coaching tools to drive performance
- Proven ability to lead, develop and coach team members
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex long-range plans and effectively present to senior management
- Ability to apply knowledge in the financial services environment
- Strong process improvement skills with an advanced ability to conceptualize and design new methods for practical application
- Effectively manages and leads change
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal skill.
- High degree of subject matter expertise in financial services industry particularly as it relates to servicing operations
Work Environment
