Long-Haul Logistics Specialist Location:

Calhoun/Dalton/Rome, GA Role Overview Drive with purpose! In your role as a Long-Haul Logistics Specialist, you will be the key player in ensuring timely deliveries of crucial materials. Join us in making a difference on the open roads, while ensuring the safety of all goods transported. Primary Responsibilities Skilled management of loading and unloading procedures, especially for hazardous materials.

Adhere to safety standards:

Your vigilance is vital in safely transporting hazardous materials. Manage essential vehicle inspections with a thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip analysis in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations. Maintain a comprehensive driver’s log, ensuring all entries are timely and accurate. Keep the vehicle in excellent condition through cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues. Safeguard your performance by holding a current Commercial Driver’s License with essential endorsements. Engage with customer interactions professionally, obtaining necessary signatures on all delivery documents. Maintain a valid medical certificate while on duty. FLSA Classification •Non-Exempt Your Skill Set Possess a High School Diploma or GED. Minimum age of 21 years, with a valid and current CDL, complete with HazMat and Tanker endorsements. Physical fitness to manage lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and maneuvering in and out of the vehicle. Demonstrated ability to safely operate the truck. Competency in securing and stabilizing cargo. An exemplary road test result is necessary. Hold a valid medical card. Adept at being a cooperative and proactive team member.
