AVC Marine has an opening for our Marine Logistics Coordinator position. You will play a key role in our operations at our Lake Lanier location. We are seeking a dedicated person to help keep our shop organized and running efficiently. In this hands-on position you will be responsible for towing and moving boats safely to and from the water, running vessels to and from clients’ docks, and maintaining cleanliness in both the shop and dock areas. You’ll assist with daily operational tasks and utilize forklifts for handling equipment and boats as needed. Enjoy competitive pay ranging from $45k to $55k. Experience:

Prior experience in a marine environment, particularly with towing and handling boats. •

Certifications:

Valid driver’s license and, if applicable, certifications for operating forklifts or other equipment are a plus! •

Skills:

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. •

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks, including working in various weather conditions. These qualifications ensure that the candidate can effectively contribute to the operations at AVC Marine. The training process for new hires at AVC Marine includes a comprehensive onboarding program designed to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.

This may involve:

Safety Training:

Instruction on safety protocols and practices related to marine operations and equipment handling. •

Hands-On Training:

Practical experience in towing and moving boats, operating forklifts, and performing daily tasks under the supervision of experienced staff. •

Mentorship:

Pairing new employees with seasoned team members to provide guidance and support as they acclimate to their responsibilities. •

Ongoing Development:
