This position is responsible for overall supply chain coordination. This position is responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. Responsibilities for
Supply Chain Specialist:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Run Monthly reports for cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory reporting
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Communicate with partners and freight forwarders to monitor shipments. Compile shipping documentation and forward to appropriate department.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints; and liaise / negotiate with customers, carriers, vendors, etc. for problems and/or complicated issues.
- Arrange team associates with supervision and continue to review progress and performance to meet the goal as planned in timely manner.
- Perform other duties assigned Requirements for
Supply Chain Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Must have 5+ years supply chain experience
- Must have experience/ knowledge in
SAP, EDI.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication /presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
