- Provide detailed WIP reporting at the PN, SN and operation level for all active WIP.
- Monitors daily, weekly and monthly throughput by PN, SN and operation.
- Provide detailed reports and analysis of part movement and flow.
- Provide operations associates and management with summaries of WIP position, known inhibitors to production advancement and collects turn backs for active QCPC data collection.
- Collect and input data to the portal daily.
- Move parts through the various routing phases in order to meet monthly part shipping goals.
- Modify job travelers to meet production goals.
- Deliver weekly Excel report on parts movement and number of job travelers modified.
- Manage and review Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and/or action messages to initiate supply chain requirements with focus being short to medium term (1 to 6 months)
- Establishes proposal, task and program/project scheduling details for material planning
- Support both the Run Out and Supplier Quality Material Planning Specialists in calculating and making judgements on lifetime procurement and stocking requirements for all parts
- Identify and resolve material supply issues to ensure support of demand requirements
- Provide technical support for all functional departments including receiving, shipping, storage, processing, assembly/sub-assembly, communication and /or related equipment, packaging and returns to ensure client standards are maintained
- Perform tasks to maintain and improve the point of use presentation of parts
- Take necessary actions to secure right level and mix of components
- Maintains accurate purchase order information in the MAPICS system
- May oversee work of other coordinators

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain material planning strategies to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and logistics to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Utilize Oracle EBS or similar systems to generate and analyze reports related to material requirements, inventory levels, and production planning.
- Monitor and track supplier performance, ensuring on-time delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular analysis of demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules to identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to material quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Continuously improve material planning processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Material Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using Oracle EBS or other ERP systems for material planning and inventory control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management concepts including procurement, production planning, and warehouse operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
