# Logistics SpecialistCovington, Georgia, United StatesArcher is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What Youll Do:
- Manage daily activities between suppliers, customers, and key logistic service providers, including inbound and outbound shipment tracking, booking confirmations, arrangement of expediting cargo, and coordinating delivery of finished goods, spare parts, and components
- Execute logistics coordination via truck, ocean, and air liaising with import brokers, freight forwarders, inland freight carriers, manufacturing facilities, customers, and suppliers to meet delivery dates while optimizing freight costs
- Preparing all the necessary document requirements and filing
- Serve as a team member for Import/Export Council, providing advice and guidance on import/export compliance policies and procedures
- Maintains a solid shipping database for logistics cost analysis

What You Need:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- 3 years of related experience in Aerospace and/or automotive industry with experience in domestic and international transportation management
- 3 years of international logistics planning experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a business environment
- Understanding of commodity classification (HTS
- Knowledge of hazmat transportation
- Experience working with freight forwarders and U.S. Customs Brokers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities
- Effective organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Team player who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Bonus Qualifications:
- BS degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Experience with hazmat a plus
- Experience with shipping and handling of Dangerous Goods.
