out of 5 stars West Point, GA 31833 Overview The Logistics Shipping Liason is responsible for monitoring the accuracy and visibility of physical inventory labels, inspecting part and label quality, and overseeing trailer rotation and shipping dock activities. This role ensures operational compliance and acts as a communication bridge between customer WH, and the logistics department. Duties Conduct regular checks to ensure physical inventory labels on racks are present, legible, and correctly placed. Validate label information against actual inventory and document discrepancies. Inspect parts and labels for compliance with quality standards (print quality, placement, correctness). Report and coordinate the resolution of label or ineventory issues with the appopriate teams. Monitor trailer rotation to ensure efficient and timely movement of equipment. Check loading and offloading status of trailers at the shipping dock and report delays or issues. Communicate with shipping and receiving teams to align trailer movement with operational needs. Support cycle counts and full physical inventory audits when required. Maintain accurate documentation related to labeling, inspections, and shipping activity. Contribute to process improvement efforts related to inventory, quality, and logistics. Qualifications Relevant technical or logistics training preferred. Experience in warehouse operations, quality inspection, or shipping logistics is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly. Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work on foot for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
