Description Summary:
Responsible for supporting departmentprocesses by providing excellent customer service as well asprocess and task knowledge to other associates including but notlimited to all inventory control transactions. Responsible foroverseeing and/or completing tasks associated with inventorycontrol such as scanning products, picking orders, and restockingpar carts, inventory locations, and point of use systems.
Additional responsibilities can include receiving supplies,verifying data accuracy, re-ordering supplies. Responsible fortroubleshooting critical supply issues.

- Perform SupplyChain Technician and Supply Chain Technician Senior tasks.
- MasterINFOR modules appropriately (according to assignment) including ParSpecialist, Purchasing Receiver, Inventory Management, WarehouseClerk, and Mobile Supply Chain Mgmt.
- Provide critical thinkingskills related to tasks and operation to provide excellent serviceand lead required processes ensuring accuracy and policyrequirements.
- Troubleshoot critical supply order issues and needsproviding status, ETA and/or options communicating with leadershipas necessary.
- Research options for product availability fromalternate vendors, CHRISTUS facilities or external entities duringcritical outages. Set up transport as appropriate.
- Understand andreview all Supply Chain and ancillary technology systems forappropriate action.
- Assist leadership to determine appropriatesubs as needed by working with other MM staff, system leaders, andlocal clinical staff.
- Assist with Contract Launch Packet rolloutsby providing verification of process steps.
- Make appropriatechanges to pars as directed by leadership.
- Support supply chainand clinical staff with a high level of product knowledge.
- Perform receiving functions and interface with Procurement asassigned.
- Respond to requests from INR/RNI team.
- Provideexcellent customer service.
- Communicate changes to customers andstaff as appropriate.
- Knowledgeable of MS Office Suite/ SupplyChain Applications.
- Must meet deadlines in fast-pacedenvironments.
- Must be able to adapt to different situations whilemaintaining exceptional decision-making skills.
- Must be able tocommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Otherduties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- 2years of supply chain experience preferred (IC, Procurement,Planning, Operations).
- 1 year of demonstrated computer experiencepreferred.
- Medical product and equipment knowledge preferred.
- Hospital supply chain experience preferred. Licenses,Registrations, or Certifications
- None Required.
