Assist members of the medical staff in unloading patients in a safe manner. Assist clients in safely boarding and exiting the vehicle (e.g. wheelchair safety). Maintains daily log of vehicle mileage.
Minimum Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent Be over 18 years of age Possess a valid driver’s license Current CPR certification Prior experience preferred Job Duties /
Skills Required:
At minimum, maintains set clinic hours and available for extended hours as needed. Ability to relate to the public, regardless of racial, ethnic and economic status. Conducts themselves in a manner of professionalism that is conducive to patient care in an organized and efficient manner.
Core Competencies:
Maintains awareness of potential risk to clients, staff and facilities and notifies administration as needed. Prepare vehicle for transport by ensuring that patient areas are cleared and safe for transport. Ensures patients arrive in a timely manner for all clinic appointments. Communicates with clinic staff regarding emergencies, traffic, and patients unable to keep their scheduled appointment.
