Temporary Supervisors for Disaster Response, Logistics & Event Operations We’re seeking bilingual (Spanish/English) Supervisors to lead labor crews in dynamic, high-impact environments — including disaster response efforts, large-scale food service events, logistics, loading zones, and staging areas. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, competent leaders who can manage people and adapt quickly in fast-paced situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise crews handling logistics, food service, site setup, loading/unloading, and staging
- Delegate tasks and ensure safety and efficiency on-site
- Communicate clearly in both Spanish and English with team members and management
- Maintain order, solve problems quickly, and keep operations moving
- Use basic technology (smartphones, tablets, apps, etc.) for check-ins, reporting, or communications
- Report progress to project leads and coordinate shift activities
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role (labor, logistics, disaster response, food events, etc.)
- Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English
- Basic computer/technology skills (ability to use mobile apps, fill out reports, send updates, etc.)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Eligible to rent a car (clean driving record preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Willing and able to travel as needed for deployments
