POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Production Analyst with at least 10 years of experience production processes. The candidate will determine the most effective means for an organization to use capital, equipment, energy, facilities, information, material, people, and other assets to make a product.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 10 years of experience production processes
Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience preferred SKILLS Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong computer literacy
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations
Designs management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis
Recommends methods of improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment and purchase of equipment
Studies sequence of operations to be performed and flow of business materials
Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations
Studies functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication
Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization
Analyses work force utilization, facility layout and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment
Assesses department efficiency reports to ensure performance results are in line with cost and schedule goals and objectives
Generates production metrics and gives insight and analysis on trends to drive more informed business decisions
Drives the performance analysis process to ensure timely, effective and realistic budgets are being submitted and associated variances are reported on
Supplies department leaders with production information and analysis data as requested
Ensures all EVMS budgeting and variance rules are being adhered to
Plans and executes efficient production flow for their company’s goods, data or information
Works to design scheduling and staffing models that provide the best optimization of labor cost and production volume and efficiency
Ensures that proper quality assurance is provided for any products or data produced by the company as well
