Part-time Call Taker Kiessling of Attleboro Taunton, MA 02780 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Call Taker to join our Dial-A-Ride Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming calls related to Dial-A-Ride and ADA transportation inquiries. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of transportation management systems, and the ability to analyze information quickly to provide accurate responses. The Call Taker will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our Dial-A-Ride operations. Responsibilities Answer all incoming phone calls promptly. Handle all aspects of DAR scheduling, appointments, cancellations and changes. Assist passengers with schedule information and other requested information Run medical reports. Enter trips sent over by GATRA Medical Transportation. Research routes to see if any drivers are available for 10-3’s. Reroute passenger pick-ups off of driver’s manifests. Retrieve voice mail messages and respond in a timely manner. Use radios to answer driver questions, assist with directions etc. Print and compile manifests (if needed). Process No Show letters. GEO code trip locations. Record mileage, statistics and hours from manifests. Resolve customer complaints through the established complaint process. Filing Other duties as assigned Skills Pleasant and clear telephone answering skills. Professional demeanor Mathematical aptitude. Proficient in data entry. Good oral and written communication skills. Office clerical skills, filing, etc. Ability to read schedules and maps and provides information orally and in writing. Ability to multi task Knowledge of GATRA Bus routes and service areas preferred Computer applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook
