Job Title:
Senior Associate Customs Compliance & Logistics Analyst FootJoy Salary Range:
$63,000 – $79,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility
Summary:
With supervision help to ensure regulatory compliance with US Customs and Border Protection (19CFR) and the Department of Commerce (15CFR) for Acushnet Company brands. Responsible for working as part of the trade compliance team ensuring compliance with export regulations, company wide. Apply knowledge of U.S. export and international regulatory requirements to accurately perform operational tasks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to, DC Operations, Import Compliance, International Customer Service, and Finance, to ensure export compliance requirements are being followed. Manage and update export SOP’s and compliance manual as required. Point person for Acushnet Company’s export software. Support the Acushnet Company CTPAT program as it relates to export compliance. Continually improve processes to improve efficiencies while maintaining Acushnet Company’s main core values.
Responsibilities:
Under supervision monitor, coordinate, and manage international export shipments, including all required documentation, denied party screening (DPS), AES filings, licensing, and transportation. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure export shipments are prepared accurately and timely. Communicate all exceptions to appropriate stakeholders. Track and monitor shipments, ensure shipment files are complete and accurate. Monitor and audit internal charges to customers. Maintain internal desktop procedures. Support the management of existing SOP’s as necessary. Support training of new hires and internal stakeholders as required. Audit export shipments to ensure compliance with export regulations and address any findings as needed. Support Acushnet’s Export CTPAT program as required. Manage relationship with Acushnet freight forwarders as it relates to export shipments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in Customs compliance, exports, and international logistics. Certified Export Specialist (CES) other export related certification preferred. Individual must exhibit a strong attention to detail, understand business math and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and be result oriented. Must be a self-starter with strong organizational and analytic skills and a team player. Working knowledge of import/export regulations, import/export documentation and recordkeeping. U.S. Customs Law and Supply Chain Management highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with all levels within the corporation, including outside counsel. Good interpersonal skills required.
