Supply Chain Buyer Planner 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 1255 Grand Army Of The Republic Highway, Somerset, MA 02725 North Atlantic Corp is looking for a Buyer/Planner for our Somerset corporate location. This employee will be responsible for the day to day requisition of raw materials, maintaining optimum inventory levels by monitoring and processing Purchase Orders and Distribution Orders. Determines supply positions in order to streamline inventories through purchase strategies and distributional relationships. Monitor, release, and process Purchase Orders and Distribution Orders. Confirm, monitor, follow-up, and expedite as necessary all raw material PO types Manage PO dates for accuracy Manage raw material forecast Manage excess and/or obsolete materials

Requirements:

Two-year college degree, or equivalent experience. Professional designations, such as APICS certifications in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management are a plus.
