Full Job Description Position Summary Location :

North Attleboro, MA.

Shift:

First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) The Supply Chain Specialist supports the flow of materials and information from sourcing through inventory management. This role partners closely with Design Services and Operations teams to ensure components are sourced to specification, inventory levels are maintained accurately, and suppliers meet performance and compliance standards. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, data-driven approach to building a reliable, efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities Sourcing:

Collaborate with Design Services and Engineering to define material requirements Identify and qualify vendors; solicit competitive quotes and negotiate pricing and lead times Monitor open orders for timely delivery and compliance Evaluate supplier performance and support corrective actions as needed

Inventory Management & Cycle Counting:

Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP; ensure alignment with physical counts Execute cycle counting and investigate discrepancies Apply FIFO practices and inventory control standards to reduce waste and shortages Support planning and material readiness for production builds

Cross-Functional Execution:

Serve as the link between Engineering and Manufacturing to align on material availability, compliance, and timelines Participate in new product introduction (NPI) by sourcing and qualifying materials early in the development cycle Drive improvements in part number setup, BOM accuracy, and ERP data integrity Lead small-scale improvement projects using Lean tools and data to streamline sourcing or inventory processes Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant technical field 3-5 years of experience in supply chain and/or ERP data management required Knowledge of industrial purchasing best practices and standard accounting principles Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey information across technical and non-technical audiences Strong working knowledge of Lean, or Six Sigma principles with demonstrated continuous improvement achievements Preferred Qualifications Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device or aerospace (ISO 13485, FDA, etc.)

APICS/ASCM

(CPIM or CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma certification Experience sourcing precision components or custom-engineered parts Forklift certification or experience handling inbound/outbound materials

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in both office and warehouse environments Occasional walking, standing, and transferring between departments
