Logistics Coordinator Rennscot Woburn, MA The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of materials, parts, and finished goods to support manufacturing operations. This position involves coordinating third-party logistics, generating and maintaining shipping documentation, ensuring the traceability of certifications, and maintaining organization in material staging areas. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and communicates effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to keep projects on track. Description Responsibilities Arrange and oversee third-party logistics for the delivery and retrieval of parts, materials, and finished goods when managed by the company. Personally transport parts, or assign team members to transport parts, to outside processing suppliers, retrieve materials, or deliver goods as needed. Ensure materials and parts are dropped off and picked up in alignment with production schedules to prevent delays. Maintain and coordinate the use of company vehicles, ensuring their readiness and proper documentation. Generate all required shipping documentation, including packing slips, shipping labels, and any customer-required documents, to ensure compliance with shipment requirements. Maintain organized records of all shipping documents to ensure traceability and alignment with

AS9100/ISO9001

standards. Upload material and service certifications (e.g., process certifications, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), material certifications) to the proper Vendor Purchase Orders (VPOs) in the ERP system to maintain full traceability. Assist with receiving, including unloading materials using forklifts and verifying incoming shipments. Organize and stage materials awaiting incoming inspection, ensuring they are moved promptly to subsequent production steps once cleared. Maintain clean and organized staging areas to improve workflow and material accessibility. Work closely with the Procurement Coordinator and/or Project Engineers to ensure OSP providers adhere to Vendor Purchase Order timelines. Communicate effectively with Supply Chain team members and Project Engineers to align priorities and avoid logistical bottlenecks. Engage and coordinate with the Assembly department on OSP schedules and assembly due dates to meet customer delivery dates Provide timely updates to relevant teams in the event of delays or logistical challenges. Responsible for packing parts and generating all required shipping documentation, including packing slips, shipping labels, and any customer-required documents, to ensure compliance with shipment requirements. Identify and recommend improvements to logistics practices to enhance efficiency, reduce delays, or improve safety. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with quality procedures for all material handling and transportation activities. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is a plus. Experience with logistics, supply chain coordination, or material handling in a preferred manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MES systems such as ProShop ERP is highly desirable. Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred but can be obtained on the job). Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; ability to drive long distances when needed.
